1. Information the app accesses

StePro Studio License Generator may access the following on your device:

• Microphone audio, for live broadcasting and recording
• Audio files selected by you, for music playback and jingle playback
• Notification permission, to support foreground-service behavior where required by Android
• Storage or media access, to import tracks and save recordings

2. Information stored locally on your device

The app stores certain settings locally on your device so the studio works consistently between sessions. This may include:

• server configuration values
• station name
• selected recording format
• library and jingle settings
• recording folder path
• license key entered on the device

Sensitive fields such as passwords are stored using platform-secured storage where supported.

3. License and device validation data

To manage activation and licensing, the app may send limited license-related data to SteProTECH infrastructure or connected cloud services. This may include:

• generated device key
• entered license key
• license status
• license expiry metadata

This data is used only for license validation, fraud prevention, entitlement control, and support.

4. Audio handling

StePro Studio License Generator can process:

• microphone input
• music playback
• jingles
• mixed broadcast output

Recordings are saved to the recording folder selected by the user. Audio is not uploaded to SteProTECH by default unless the app is explicitly configured to transmit audio to a streaming server or future cloud service.

If you configure a live streaming server in the app, your audio is transmitted to the server you configure.

5. Third-party services

The app may use third-party services such as:

• Firebase / Firestore, for license and entitlement state
• Google Play services, where applicable for store distribution, billing, or subscriptions

These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

6. Data sharing

SteProTECH does not sell your personal data.

Limited data may be shared only as necessary for:

• license validation
• subscription or entitlement checks
• cloud sync required for app functionality
• legal compliance

7. Data retention

License and entitlement records may be retained for operational, security, fraud prevention, and support purposes. Locally saved settings remain on the device until you uninstall the app, clear app data, or change or remove them manually.

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to reduce unauthorized access to app-related data. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.

• remove local recordings from your selected recording folder
