StePro Guest

1. Information the app accesses

StePro Guest may access the following on your device:

• microphone audio, so you can speak in a guest room
• network connection, to join the guest room and receive host audio
• notification permission, to support active audio sessions where required by Android
• storage or folder access, only when you choose to save guest recordings

2. Information you provide

The app may ask you to enter:

• your display name
• a guest room code or invite link
• recording folder preferences, if you use local recording

These details are used to connect you to the correct guest room and identify you to the host.

3. Guest room session data

To let guests join a host session, SteProTECH may process limited guest room data, including:

• room code
• guest display name
• temporary guest session token
• connection and participant status
• mute and on-air state

This data is used only to connect guests, manage the guest room, show room status, and support the broadcast workflow.

4. Audio handling

StePro Guest uses your microphone only when you join or use a guest room feature that requires audio. Your microphone audio may be sent to the host's live guest room so the host can monitor, record, or include you in a broadcast.

Audio is not sold by SteProTECH. Audio may pass through the live communication service used for guest rooms, and the host may record or broadcast the session depending on how the host uses StePro Studio.

5. Local recordings

If you choose to record from the guest app, recordings are saved to the folder you select on your device. SteProTECH does not upload local recordings by default.

6. Third-party services

The app may use third-party services such as:

• LiveKit or compatible live audio services, for guest room connection
• Google Play services, where applicable for app distribution and review
• Firebase or related services, if used for entitlement or operational state

These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

7. Data sharing

SteProTECH does not sell your personal data.

Limited data may be shared only as necessary for:

• guest room connection
• session management
• security and abuse prevention
• support and troubleshooting
• legal compliance

8. Data retention

Guest room session records and temporary tokens may be retained for operational, security, and support purposes. Temporary review sessions may expire automatically. Locally saved settings and recordings remain on your device until you remove them, clear app data, or uninstall the app.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to reduce unauthorized access to app-related data. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices

• decline optional permissions, though some features may not work
• mute your microphone in the guest room
• leave a guest room at any time
• remove local recordings from your selected recording folder
• contact SteProTECH for privacy, guest room, or support questions

StePro Guest is not directed to children.
